The OnePlus 3 is coming in two shelves in just two weeks and you would no longer need an invite to get your hands on one, online reports have said.

According to a teaser page put up on the brand’s Chinese website, and a blog post on the same website, the phone will  be introduced at a “conference” on June 15, which is effectively June 14 in the US.

The OnePlus 3 will feature a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage space, a 5.5-inch Full HD OLED screen, a 3,000 mAh battery, and a 16MP camera, according to one report.

The 7.3-mm thick device will be available in black, gray, or gold.

According to a report in the Wired, OnePlus will sell the OnePlus 3 jthe regular way aka without the invitation process.

However, the launch will anything but regular. The device launch will be via a “virtual reality experience,” a spaceship environment the company calls “The Loop.”

Those who join the VR event will get preference in orders, while everyone else can go through the OnePlus website about 45 minutes later.

Regional buyers will have to figure loopholes in the process though. Their best bet would be to either have a US postal address to ship to, or use any of the shop and ship services local shippers offer for online purchases made in the US.

Or you could always trouble that cousin of yours studying at an American uni again.
